Kurt Zouma is one of the most heavily sought after young players, so it is no surprise to see the likes of Chelsea, City and United all linked with the youngster.
St Etienne president Roland Romeyer has prepared for the likely bids of these top teams as he recently said “To date we have not had formal offers, although in football it is hard to know what can happen”. Chelsea are said to be leading the race to sign the youngster as the Blues have been linked with Zouma for a while.
The 19 year old has started 10 out of 11 of his side’s league games and has impressed so far this season as his side sit 5th in Ligue 1. Zouma is likely to join Chelsea out of the three because David Luiz is reportedly being tracked by Barcelona so Mourinho will be keen to sign a replacement.
Zouma is, however, locked down on a contract until 2017, but a January move is still a possibility as the Frenchman will be keen to gain attention from the national side and possibly gain a call up for this year’s World Cup in Brazil.
