Should Chelsea have bought him?
Chelsea reportedly outbid Manchester United and Barcelona for PSG’s Marquinhos last summer.
The star was often linked with a move away from the French capital this summer, and had several clubs after his services.
It’s thought that Chelsea bid a huge £52million for him.
However, his agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, has confirmed the French club never had any intentions of selling the defender.
“The president of PSG never wanted to negotiate a transfer, neither with Barca nor with anyone,” he told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
“Last summer there was a €60million (£52m) proposal for Marquinhos and he rejected it.”
