Chelsea are ready to bid for Liverpool target Iasmin Latovlevici as they look to replace the departed Ashley Cole.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has reportedly decided not to make a move for the defender, meaning Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could be ready to bid himself. He has already made big money signings since the end of the season in Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, and the spending is set to continue.
Atletico Madrid’s Felipe Luiz is another potential target and is looking likely to make a £20million move to Stamford Bridge. Latovlevici has been capped 8 times for Romania and has lined up against CHelsea twice in two seasons.
