The Blues are looking to strengthen their already strong attack

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is targeting Lazio playmaker Felipe Anderson in this summer’s transfer window.

The Brazilian Under-21 international could be the West London club’s second Brazilian signing of the summer, following the capture of Atletico Paranaense‘s Nathan.

According to website Fichajes.net, the Blues‘ boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to offer £28.4 million for Felipe Anderson, who has been in great form in Serie A this season.

Disappointment

Chelsea are looking to strengthen in their attacking midfield area, as they are disappointed in Juan Cuadrado‘s performances since he moved to Stamford Bridge from Fiorentina in January. A deal which was funded by Andre Schurrle‘s switch to Wolfsburg, the German was a favourite amongst some Chelsea fans.

However, Chelsea aren’t the only club interested in Anderson. They must fight off competition from some of Europe’s biggest teams if they are to secure his signature, including Manchester United who have already been linked with making a Summer move.

The 22-year old has scored 11 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
