According to reports, Chelsea are ready to make a £50M move for Spurs left-back Danny Rose

The 27-year-old has recently emerged as one of Chelsea’s top targets, however if they are going to succeed to in landing their man, they will have to pay £50M to get the defender away from White Hart Lane, according to the reports.

Rose has been injured since January when the England International suffered a serious knee injury, He then came out and criticised the club’s wage policies and lack of transfer activity earlier this week, however it is said that Tottenham are yet to announce whether they are willing to sell the defender or not.

Rose has also emerged as a big target for Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, however seeing as Rose is set to be out until after the international break in a few weeks time, his injury may have come as a blessing in disguise to Spurs, as it may well mean he won’t be able to secure a move away from the club, at least for this summer, report the Sun.

If Rose does end up leaving Tottenham for a move to the Blues, it’ll be very interesting to see what kind of wage the player demands from the west London club.
