Chelsea star rejects new contract offered to him
Eden Hazard has rejected a new contract offered to him by Chelsea according to his father. The Belgian is looking for a move to Real Madrid and is not willing to commit to the club just yet.
“What I can reveal about Eden is that he refused a contract extension,” Thierry Hazard told Le Soir.

“This was so that, if necessary, he could follow the interest of Real, whom he could see himself playing for. But, as of right now, there is no contact from Real Madrid. Eden is only one of the parties involved in his future.” added Thierry.
Hazard has just 18 months left on his current contract and it would be a disaster for the club to let him leave for free. The Belgian has a lot to offer to the club still and the club should do everything possible to keep hold of him.
