Chelsea star tears ACL; set to be out for 8-9 months
Chelsea starlet, Izzy Brown has suffered an ACL tear, the player has confirmed via Instagram. The 21-year-old got injured while taking a shot in Brighton’s FA Cup 3rd round game vs Crystal Palace.
Though the player resumed playing just after going down, he was back on the3 floor 2 minutes after the incident. This is a big blow for him as he had just come back from a hamstring injury and was making his way into the starting XI.

The Englishman will now return to Chelsea and undergo a surgery. He will be out of action for nearly 8-9 months as that is the minimum time required for the full recovery.
Izzy will remain at Chelsea until January 2019 before he is loaned out for the rest of the 2019/20 season.
