According to Calciomercato, Chelsea are interested in signing Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi.
Smells like fake news…
Berardi came up through Sassuolo’s academy, and has made 147 appearances for them since doing so. During that period he has found the back of the net on 56 occasions and established himself as one of the most entertaining players in Italy.
He won’t be cheap either. Calciomercato say that Sassuolo will demand a fee in the region of around £35million in exchange for their prize asset.
It remains to be seen if any of this is true though.
However, they will face stern competition for his signature. Calciomercato also claim that both Inter and Juventus are interested in signing the 22-year-old from their Serie A counterparts.
