The Blue are reportedly set to announce the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko within the next 48 hours.
Bakayoko has been heavily linked with a big summer move to the Premier League with Manchester United also rumoured to be very interested.
France Football claim that Bakayoko is currently stalling on agreeing terms after Monaco accepted a bid from Chelsea.
However, the Daily Express say the Blues have in fact have won the race to sign the midfield star in a £36.7million deal.
Bakayoko shot to fame this season as he helped fire in Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Antonio Conte has made adding more midfield options a big priority this summer as Chelsea prepare for a return to Europe and for a title defence.
Bakayoko would be a massive signing for Chelsea and the 22-year-old is set to land in London this week and undergo a medical.
The Frenchman has apparently agreed a five-year deal and will become one of the signings of the summer when the announcement is made.
However, reports in France claim Bakayoko has not even agreed personal terms with Chelsea.
