Jose Mourinho is impressed with West Bromwich Albion striker

Chelsea are ready to enter the race to sign West Bromwich Albion star Saido Berahino, according to reports.

The English forward was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur over the summer, with the North London outfit making FIVE formal bids, with three coming on Transfer Deadline Day.

The Baggies snubbed every offer Spurs made, which left Berahino fuming at the club’s owner,

However, Tony Pulis has sorted the situation, and Berahino is back in consideration for West Brom‘s first-team.

Striker Wanted

According to reports, Jose Mourinho is impressed with the 22-year-old and wants to add him to his squad to add more goals to the team, following the flop of loan signing Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian could see his loan-deal terminated in January, which would leave Chelsea with just Diego Costa and Loic Remy.

With Mourinho ready to make mass changes in the New Year, Berahino could be one of the potential arrivals with a ÂŁ20million bid being prepared.
