Patrick Bamford to get a deal from Chelsea FC

Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer Patrick Bamford a new lucrative deal at the club.

The 21-year-old has been superb in recent seasons but not at Stamford Bridge, out on loan in the Championship.

During the 2012/2013 season, Bamford netted 14 goals in 23 appearances for League One side MK Dons, before following that up with a loan spell at Championship side Derby County. In that season, he netted eight in 21.

However, this season has been a stand-out one for the Englishman as he’s helped Middlesborough fight for promotion to the Premier League by scoring 17 goals in 35 league games.

Boro are currently third in the Championship, just two points off the top with three games remaining as they look to secure a return to the top flight of English football.

Current contract at Stamford Bridge is worth ÂŁ7,500k-a-week

Bamford is currently on a contract worth ÂŁ7,500k-a-week at Stamford Bridge, but according to reports, they are ready to offer him a long-term deal with a massive pay-rise.

The striker has one year left remaining on his Chelsea deal, but he’s expected to put pen-to-paper over the Summer.
