Blues ready to make summer changes

Chelsea are eyeing a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, according to reports.

The Blues are growing fed-up with Diego Costa, and following his pitch bust-up with Jose Mourinho on Tuesday night, it looks like his time at Stamford Bridge is coming to an end.

Some reports have suggested that officials at Chelsea wanted to sell Costa in the summer, but Mourinho convinced them to keep the Spaniard despite his attitude problems and injury issues.

However, a few months on and Mourinho is already willing to sell the striker and has already eyed up potential replacements.

Strikers Wanted

Gonzalo Higuain, Antoine Griezmann and Edinson Cavani have been big names linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, as have the likes of Saido Berahino and even Emmanuel Adebayor.

Despite some big overseas names being linked, someone closer to home has been mentioned in today’s papers and it’s Spurs star, Kane.

The 22-year-old had a stunning breakthrough season last year and is bang in form this time around as well despite a slow start to the campaign.

Manchester United tried to lure Kane to Old Trafford over the summer, but they failed miserably as the striker ended up signing a new deal at White Hart Lane.

However, Chelsea will still go in for the striker next summer and will aim to persuade Mauricio Pochettino to sell.
