Defender set for Stamford Bridge move?
Chelsea are set to complete the £20million transfer of Atletico Madrid defender Joao Miranda.
The Blues want a younger defender to replace captain John Terry and instead of doing it when the Englishman retires, it is understood that manager Jose Mourinho wants to bring in an understudy this summer.
Mourinho wants to bring in back up in the summer transfer window regardless of Terry’s phenomenal form last season because the gaffer says injuries can happen to anyone at anytime.

The manager has the 30-year-old Brazil international on the top of his transfer target list, who also was in great form last season, according to the Telegraph.
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid would want at least £20million for the centre-half.
