Atletico winger wanted by Premier League champions
Chelsea are lining up a huge £46.3million bid for Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann.
The Blues manager, Jose Mourinho, is a keen admirer of the France international but Atletico want to keep him and have revealed that incoming offers will be rejected unless it tops the forwards release clause.
The Spanish giants have admitted it would be hard to keep the 24-year-old beyond the summer transfer window but want no less than the money from his release clause.
However, Chelsea face tough competition for the forward as German giants Bayern Munich are showing deep interest in the former Real Sociedad star but the Blues’ financial budget could prove too much for Bayern to compete with.
Griezmann has impressed many Champions League clubs this season, with him netting 22 goals in La Liga.
