Chelsea have seemed to have dropped an big hint on their website regarding Alvaro Morata‘s squad number at the club next season.
The 24-year-old completed the move from Real Madrid to Stamford Bridge earlier this month after months of speculation also linking the Spain striker with Premier League rivals Manchester United.
It’s said the Blues had agreed an initial fee of around £70million for the forward however, the Premier League champions are yet to confirm what number their high-profile signing will be wearing for the 2017/18 campaign.
Now, on Chelsea’s official website, Alvaro Morata has been placed in the No.9 slot, between N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard, appearing to confirm that this is where he can expect to find himself when the season begins.
