Club emerges as surprise suitors for Diego Costa

According to reports, Las Palmas are now interested in Diego Costa on loan until 2018

The want to get him on loan before he moves on to Atletico Madrid.

Costa clearly wants to leave the Blues after falling out with Antonio Conte, However, he wants a move back to his old club, Atletico Madrid, who evidently can’t register him as a player until 2018 due to a transfer embargo.

It’s said the Blues are keen for the move to happen as soon as it can and for around ÂŁ40m for the Spaniard.

Conte is looking at trying to bring in Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Swansea’s Fernando Llorente, and are hoping to use the funds from the move for Costa.

Costa joined Chelsea in 2014 from Atletico Madrid for after making 134 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring 64 goals and assisting 22 times during his spell there.

He has continued his excellent form at Chelsea, making 120 appearances for The Blues, scoring 58 goals, assisting 24 whilst helping them win two Premier Leagues and a League Cup.
