The Blues have moved in swiftly to open talks for Foxes midfielder N’Golo Kante as he rejects Leicester City contract!
Antonio Conte is looking to shape up his squad for the upcoming season, IWithin 24 hours of Kante’s Euro 2016 campaign finished with France’s final defeat to Portugal, The Blues rushed in to formalise their interest in hope of concluding a deal.
However, with Chelsea triggering Kante’s £20million release clause they will have to pay a bit more than, mainly because Kante’s clause in his contract says Leicester have the right to sell to the highest bidder and so far they have received a £35m offer from Chinese super league club Shanghai SIPG.
Good news for the Blues though, the 25-year-old has rejected a £100,000-a-week contract from Leicester City and Chelsea Football Club are hoping they can reach an agreement as soon as possible.
