Captain will miss trip to Foxes
It’s been confirmed that Jordan Henderson will miss Liverpool’s trip to Leicester tonight after suffering a foot injury in training.
The incident with another teammate in training happened on Friday, but a scan today has revealed heavy bruising on the foot.
He is also a serious doubt for Liverpool’s hosting of Arsenal on Saturday, but thankfully for the Reds, there was no break or fracture, so he should return for their game at home to Burnley on March 12th.
Henderson has only recently returned from an injury that kept him out over the Christmas period, but the Reds will still be targeting a win in the game against struggling Leicester.
