The new club Captain is set to miss some vital games.
The 31-year-old was given a straight red card for his harsh challenge on Matt Lowton in the 14th minute of the match, now he’s due to miss the Blues’ next three games.
The skipper will not be involved for the game against Tottenham on the weekend, while he’ll also miss Everton at home the following weekend, then the trip to Leicester City after the upcoming international break.
Fabregas got himself two yellow cards, one for the sarcastic clap in the direction of Craig Pawson, and the second was for another harsh challenege. Cesc will miss out on Sunday’s trip to Wembley, which will leave Antonio Conte with a bit of a selection headache in the middle of the park this weekend.
