The next potential Chelsea boss has admitted he wants to work with Arturo Vidal again

Antonio Conte has claimed he would love to work with Arturo Vidal again.

The two previously worked together at Juventus and after the midfielder’s claims that he would ‘go to war’ with Conte last week, the manager has responded by saying he would love to work with the Chile international again.

With Conte set to take over at Chelsea in the summer as well, it could mean that a potential reunion could end up taking place at Stamford Bridge. Vidal is a key player for Bayern Munich but if a bid was to be made, then he may find it hard to reject his old boss.

Big fan of the midfielder

Speaking about the 28-year old, Conte said: “I’d take Vidal too. He’s an amazing player.

“I must admit at Juve I found him hard to fit in. In my head I wanted to play a 4-2-4 and 4-4-2, but seeing the intensity of Vidal getting up and down the pitch I switched to a 4-3-3 which then transformed into 3-5-2.

“He has extraordinary physical and technical attributes, if I get to coach him a little more it’d be fantastic.

“I want him in all my teams.”

With the Italian clearly a big fan of the midfielder, then he could certainly try to sign him again for whatever team he ends up at. As previously mentioned Chelsea seems the most likely place and it means that we could finally be seeing Vidal in the Premier League come next season.
