Antonio Conte is currently at odds with Chelsea officials, according to reports.
Despite the Italian winning the Premier League with his side on Friday night, things are not all smiles, with reports suggesting Antonio Conte is currently dealing with disagreement with officials at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte is just one win away from completing a double in his first season with Chelsea, and it was all smiles as they secured the title against West Brom, though a story from Yahoo Sport! hints at problems.
While not to rain on Chelsea’s parade, the story claims the Italian and top brass at Stamford Bridge are in disagreement over the structure of youth development for the club.
Despite lavish funds splashed on that area of the club, Chelsea are not known for their willingness to promote talent from within.
Conte is understood to have seen his idea of making his own appointment to work on that side of things last summer rejected.
This does not seem to be a big enough issue to see Conte leave the club, but it is certainly an issue that Chelsea fans will want resolved as soon as possible.
If the problem is not solved, and Conte continues to disagree with how it is handled, over time it could grow from a minor problem to a very serious one.
Only time will tell if Chelsea officials are willing to change past ways, and allow the Italian to control the youth system, but until then Chelsea fans will continue to celebrate a wonderful first season under the former Juventus and Italy man.
