According to reports the Blues boss wants Chelsea to sign either Leonardo Bonucci or Virgil van Dijk this summer.
Conte is said to becoming frustrated at the lack of progress made by Chelsea in signing new players to the squad.
And strengthening up their defence is one area in which Conte is looking to make big signings with Alex Sandro heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge to provide more competition for Marcos Alonso.
Adding an experienced defender to his back three is also a big priority for the Italian coach and Bonucci and Van Dijk are men he’s identified.
According to the Telegraph, Conte wants Bonucci having worked with him at Juventus and Italy and reports also say Chelsea are set to pay as much as £50m for Van Dijk and the Premier League champions may even include players like Nathan Ake in the deal.
Now reports are claiming the Conte has taken his request straight to the top and has asked that they make these two players a priority this upcoming transfer window, to either get one or the other, but it’s said he wants the Blues to go for both.
