Juventus director Beppe Marotta has given the Blues yet another blow in their pursuit of Alex Sandro
Fans were not happy after Juventus revealing the defender has requested to stay at the club this season.
Sandro joined Juventus from Porto in 2015 and has established himself as one of the best defenders in Europe during that time
Antonio Conte has been after Sandro all summer and Chelsea Football Club have reportedly placed bids that would have made the Brazilian the world’s most expensive defender of all-time rejected.
Chelsea have recently rekindled their interest in the 26-year-old with the hope Sandro would request to join the Premier League champions, but Marotta has revealed the situation is actually the complete opposite.
“He said he wants to stay here, so we sent the offers right back where they came from,” Marotta told reporters, via Football Italia.
