The Chelsea striker has claimed it would be ‘fantastic’
Diego Costa has heaped the praise on Arda Turan, as the Atletico Madrid man continues to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Spaniard used to play with Turan in La Liga for Madrid, as did Filipe Luis and he has been quick to heap the praise on the Turkey international.
Costa Wants Turan at Chelsea
Costa said: “It would be fantastic. Arda makes everything so much easier out on the pitch. Arda, Filipe [Luis] and I function perfectly.”
“And Arda is such a great person. The whole team would go round to his house for dinner.”
The 28-year old is wanted by Manchester United and despite the Red Devils preparing to pay up to 29 million for him, it is believed that he would much rather prefer a move to the Blues.
Barcelona have also been linked, although they are currently under a transfer embargo and would be unable to sign him this summer.
