Winger will join Ligue 1 champions if he leaves Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo has promised officials at Paris Saint-Germain that he will join the French club should he choose to leave Real Madrid.

According to numerous reports, Ronaldo is unhappy at the Bernabeu and wants to leave the club at the end of the season, sparking speculation surrounding his future and his next moves.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with signing the Portuguese with both desperate to bring him back to the Premier League, but PSG are only keen on landing him and have the financial power to do so.

Ronaldo isn’t enjoying life in Spain anymore and is reportedly unhappy with the club’s decision to appoint Rafael Benitez.

Things got a whole lot worse following their 4-0 loss at home to FC Barcelona in El Clasico last weekend, and reports have now emerged that Ronaldo has already agreed to join PSG should he leave Madrid.

United boss Louis van Gaal has also revealed his side’s interest in resigning Ronaldo, but a source close to him has revealed a pre-agreement with the Ligue 1 champions should a transfer take place.

PSG the Option

“Cristiano has told those closest to him that he wants to stay at Real,” a source told The Sun.

“But if for one reason or another he leaves then he will only go to PSG.

“The decision has been taken and he was in no mood to entertain any other clubs.

“He wants to live in France, he likes Laurent Blanc [PSG boss], he has a great relationship with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the club president and he knows life in Paris will simply be sensational for him.”
