The two have not spoken for months according to AS
David De Gea and Louis Van Gaal have not spoken for months according to AS. Reports have claimed that the Spanish goalkeeper is close to signing a new deal at Old Trafford.
But AS are reporting that player and manager are currently experiencing a ‘poor relationship’ and that Real Madrid, who are extremely interested in the goalkeeper, are in constant contact with his agent, Jorge Mendes.
De Gea’s agent has previously confirmed that his client and Man United are currently in talks over a new deal at the club and yet these reports are stating that Van Gaal and the Spaniard aren’t speaking.
Fans and staff at the club will be hoping the 24-year old does put pen to paper on a new deal soon despite these claims, as he has arguably been one of the Red Devils best players this year and he has started every game under boss Van Gaal.
