Former Blues midfielder Dennis Wise says N’Golo Kante is a similar player to Claude Makelele
Claude Makelele played over 200 games for The Blues, mainly as a defensive midfielder.
And Former Chelsea midfielder Dennis Wise has compared N’Golo Kante to Claude Makelele.
‘He is very much like him (Makelele). He breaks things up really well and his passing is impressive,’ Wise, who himself made over 300 appearances in 11 years at Chelsea, told the club’s website.
‘He’s an unsung hero and people are recognising what he is doing for the team. He closes people down and he shuts hole, protects the back three and I think he’s done fantastic ever since he’s come in.’
