United this afternoon also announced the signing of Matic on a three-year contract, with an added option to extend for a further year.
Which means Matic, 28, has left Stamford Bridge for the second time – six years after his first departure.
Matic won two Premier League titles at Stamford Bridge as well as an FA Cup and the League Cup.
Speculation had been buzzing when a picture surfaced of Matic in a United training kit.
But now it’s confirmed, Nemanja Matic is now a Manchester United player.
