The midfielder joins on a four-and-a-half-year deal
Sunderland have completed the signing of Wahbi Khazri from Bordeaux for a fee in the region of £9 million.
The Tunisia international is the Black Cats’ fifth January transfer window signing, after capturing goalkeeper Steve Harper, central defenders Jan Kirchhoff and Lamine Kone and centre forward Dame N’Doye.
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce said: “Wahbi is a dynamic attacking player with the ability to score goals. I am delighted to welcome him to the club.”
