DONE DEAL – West Brom secure Pritchard loan

The Tottenham man joins the Baggies until the end of the season

West Brom have signed Alex Pritchard on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year old joins the club from Tottenham and also joins in time to be able to feature against Stoke in the Baggies game against them tomorrow.

The England Under-21 international has struggled for gametime at Spurs and has featured just once for the club this season. He has spent the last few seasons out on loan spells with various different clubs from Brentford to Swindon and now he will get his chance on loan at a Premier League club for the first time.

Pritchard can play on the wing or in a central attacking midfield role is eager for more gametime and is happy to make the move to the Hawthorns. Speaking about the move, he said: “It’s been a hectic few hours – I was close to going elsewhere – but when this came about I didn’t hesitate to come here

“I’m here and excited to get going. I spoke to Tony Pulis and coaches and was told to do my best, work hard and make an impression.”
West Brom fans might not have to wait too long for him to make his first impression, with the possibility of the 22-year old being on the teamsheet tomorrow.
