Following the departure of Robert Lewandowski at the end of the season, Borussia Dortmund are going to be missing the Pole’s keen eye for goal, so they are looking to the Premier League for a replacement.

According to Sports Direct News, the Bosnian is willing to take a pay-cut in order to secure a transfer to the Bundesliga giants.

The 27 year-old is a regular on the City scoresheet since his ÂŁ27m move from Wolfsburg despite not retaining a position in Pellegrini’s starting 11. The Bosnian has found games even harder to come by following the arrival of Spaniard Alvarro Negredo, who has a deadly partnership with Sergio Aguero.

Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen in Dzeko because of his fantastic eye for goal, he has scored 56 goals overall for City in 137 appearances, of which 54 were from the bench. But it doesn’t compare to this season’s stats as Dzeko has just 6 league goals, compared to negredo’s 9 and Aguero’s 14.
