Manchester United and Arsenal alerted
Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have put a £28.5million price-tag on defender Mats Hummels, according to reliable sources.
The Germany international is on Manchester United’s target list and United boss Louis van Gaal is keen on bringing the experienced centre-back to Old Trafford as he looks to strengthen his defence with the prospect of playing Champions League again next season.

The Red Devils have reportedly made a bid in the region of £22million for the much-admired Dortmund star, who has implied that he could be on his way to the Theatre of Dreams.
However, German news source Bild, claim that The Black and Yellows want a substantial amount more than what was offered with the player’s contract deal only expiring in at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
Dortmund’s manager from next season, Thomas Tuchel, wants Hummels in his side when he replaces Jurgen Klopp.
Although, the German side want at least £28.5million if they want to have the Dortmund captain in their side next campaign.
