Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that drawing PSG in the Champions League is a good tie for the club.

The French club were arguably the toughest opponent Chelsea could have been given, with the likes of Ibrahimovic, Cavani and former Blues defender David Luiz in their ranks.

Mourinho though is thankful for the tie from a logistical point of view.

“I told what is clear for everyone. It’s an easy fight, easy journey, train, whatever you want,” said the Portuguese.

“It’s cheaper for the supporters. They can go and be back on the same day. Even my son is happy because he can go without missing school.”

Mourinho also reacted to his side drawing Liverpool in the Capital One Cup semi-final.

“If you want to win competitions you have to play against the big teams unless you are so lucky that everyone finds a killing giant and is out of the competition.

“It is normal for use to play a semi-final against a team that has the same ambitions that we have.”

This is the fourth time Chelsea and Liverpool have drawn each other in a knockout semi final, in the last 10 years.
