Eden Hazard debunks fake news reports about Real Madrid

Amid mainstream media reports that Chelsea’s Eden Hazard will transfer to Real Madrid, the Belgian has now debunked the claims.

Nearly the whole season media outlets big and small reported that Eden Hazard was going to make the move over to Madrid, in fact they were damn sure it was going to happen.

Fake news, and as I’ve been saying all season, it was never going to happen and Hazard never had any plans to leave Stamford Bridge.

But the reports continued, and once again Hazard has put the fake news to bed and responded saying he is going to be at Chelsea for a few more years.

Hazard told The Straits Times: “I’m good here. I’m at one of the best clubs in the world and I think I’m going to stay for a couple of years. I’m very happy.

“You can see on the pitch that I’m happy.

“Next season, we will have the Champions League to play but we want to keep the Premier League trophy in Chelsea.

“It’s going to be hard but we know [people] expect a lot from Chelsea now.

“But now is the time to think about holidays.”

So there it is mainstream media and expert pundits, you get paid a nice pay check spreading fake news, unconfirmed reports and illogical speculation, while the rest of us do the actual work and report the truth.

Sad.
