Belgium International Football Team boss Roberto Martinez has said the ankle injury Eden Hazard sustained against Estonia is not a serious one.
Hazard took a knock to the ankle during the 8-1 win and no choice but to leave the field immediately afterwards, and it was feared it was serious.
However much to the relief of Chelsea, former Everton boss Martinez revealed after the game that it is nothing serious and he just went off as a precaution. “He received a blow to the ankle, but he is not hurt,” Martinez confirmed.
Eden has been in top form this season and has rediscovered his best form under new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, and a spell on the sidelines will be a huge blow.
Chelsea Football Club will now be keen to get Hazard back to Stamford Bridge as soon as they can and have their own staff assess the situation, However, the early signs are good ahead of the return to Premier League action this weekend.
