Paris Saint-Germain will sell if price-tag is met

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been told they can sign Edinson Cavani but only if they cough up £42million.

The Uruguayan has been strongly linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain in recent months, with the Premier League trio all keen on landing him.

Cavani‘s future was thrown into further questioning after he admitted he was scared to return to Paris following the horrific attacks that took place earlier this month.

It’s well documented the 28-year-old wasn’t happy with Laurent Blanc‘s decision to play him out of position for the majority of his time in Paris, but this season he has been moved into a more central role, keeping both him and Zlatan Ibrahimovic happy at the same time.

Price-Tag Revealed

However, with a transfer in the pipeline, the Ligue 1 champions have slapped a £42m price-tag on his head.

According to reports, Arsenal are ‘very interested’ in a deal for the Uruguayan, while Chelsea are ready to ‘make a big effort’ to land the striker.

The Gunners only really have Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott as striking options, while Chelsea are in the market to replace Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy, all whom have failed to impress this season.

Officials at PSG are ready to sell Cavani as they know they can use the funds raised to persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to join.
