Uruguayan would prefer to play for attacking team, claims agent

Chelsea have been dealt a major boost in their quest to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani after his agent revealed he’d prefer to work with Antonio Conte than Jose Mourinho.

The Uruguayan striker is heavily tipped to leave PSG this summer, despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic also leaving on a free transfer, and he’s expected to complete a move to the Premier League.

The likes of Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked with making formal moves for the striker, and it’s the Blues that have been dealt a major boost ahead of the summer transfer window.

With Conte set to take over at Stamford Bridge, and possibly Mourinho taking over at Old Trafford, Cavani‘s agent has admitted his client would rather link up with the Italian over the Portuguese.

Cavani’s Agent Drops Hint

Fernando Guglielmone told Tuttosport: ‘In three months everything can change. Edinson could stay at PSG, who have an ambitious project, but also he could change.

‘Who do I prefer between Jose Mourinho, Conte and Massimo Allegri? There are three big coaches, but for Edy I’d prefer the attacking game of Conte and Allegri.’
