Versatile player left to join Galatasaray in 2011

Emmanuel Eboue has admitted he would love to return to Arsenal.

The Ivorian is currently a free-agent after being released by Galatasaray over the summer and that came after spending the majority of last season playing for the Turkish club’s reserves.

Now without a club, the right-back is eyeing a possible return to North London and wants a reunion with Arsene Wenger, despite initially leaving the club back in 2011.

Eboue wouldn’t be the first former-player to make a shock return to Arsenal as Mathieu Flamini did it the other year after leaving AC Milan.

Speaking about his recent times, Eboue discussed his departure from Galatasaray and also commented on a potential return to Arsenal.

Eboue Wants Return

He said: “I came back for training and I was told I would not be playing.

“The president (Dursun Ozbek) told the manager (Cesare Prandelli) at the time not to pick me. The way I was treated was very unfair.

“We are looking for options and I would love to come back to Arsenal.”
