Arsenal scouts spotted at the Benfica-Porto clash last night

The Gunners were keeping tabs on reported targets Jackson Martinez and Yachine Brahimi of Porto as well as Benfica’s Anderson Talisca.

As reported in Portugese newspaper, O Jogo, Arsene Wenger is set to make a move for the three players in the summer.

The Arsenal manager has previously admitted his admiration for the club’s Colombian striker Martinez, with the frontman certain to leave the Portugal at the end of the season.

The man they call “cha-cha-cha” for his dance-like moves on the pitch has been cited as an out and out goal scorer who can finish with both feet.

Martinez, who has 17 goals in 25 appearances is also on Manchester United’s radar with the Reds lining up a £30m move for the South American forward.

Wenger wants Martinez and Brahimi

At last night’s top-of-the-table match, Arsenal representatives were also watching the Algerian midfielder Yachine Brahimi, who recently picked up the award for African Footballer of the Year.

The former France Youth international has been a key figure in Julen Lopetegui’s side, making 17 appearances and contributing six goals.

During the 0-0 draw between the two Portugese giants, the Gunners were also keeping an eye on Benfica’s Anderson Taslisca who is also reportedly on Jose Mourinho’s shopping list.

The result leaves Benfica on course to seal their 34th title with arch-rivals Porto three points behind with the five games left to play.
