With Arsenal considering letting go of Theo Walcott, interest for the English forward is heating up, with Southampton and Everton showing their interest in him.
However, it has emerged that Everton are the frontrunners, challenging Southampton for a £20million deal for the English forward.
It is being said that Arsenal are not actively looking at Walcott in their first-team plans, and that he could be on his way out of the club this month.
The 28-year-old might have to deal with a pay cut if he joins Southampton, but could enjoy a similar salary as the £110,000 per week he earns at Arsenal, if he joins Everton, a club that isn’t as financially challenged.
However, it is also being said that the Walcott exit might not be readily sanctioned by Arsene Wenger, who might already be seeing Alexis Sanchez move out soon. Without replacements ready, Wenger won’t afford to let go Walcott and Sanchez in one go.
