Pep Guardiola eyeing Theo Walcott

The new City boss has highlighted him as a target

According to reports, Pep Guardiola wants Arsenal winger Theo Walcott to join him at Manchester City in the summer.

It is believed that Guardiola has told City to monitor the England international’s progress for the remainder of the season, as he aims to lure him to the Etihad Stadium.

And Walcott may be tempted by a move to Manchester, as he fears his career is stagnating in North London. The 27-year old hasn’t started a league match for the Gunners since the end of February.

However, it’s not all bad news for Arsenal fans. There are tentative rumours that if Walcott leaves the Emirates Stadium then the club will attempt to replace him with Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan

  1. Well we heard a lot about Walcotts potential for the past decade. Unfortunately Wenger never really managed to unlock it for one reason or another. Maybe Pep feels he can, it’ll be interesting to see if a top level manager can unlock this mystery.
