What are his chances of moving to the Emirates Stadium?

VfL Wolfsburg director of sport Klaus Allofs has confirmed that Julian Draxler will not be joining Premier League club Arsenal this summer.

It was believed that the Germany international would leave the Bundesliga club after they failed to qualify for the Champions League, but Allofs insists that this is not the case.

Draxler, 22, was believed to be in talks with the Gunners following Germany’s semi-final exit from Euro 2016.

However, when speaking to German media outlet Sport1, Allofs confirmed that Die Wolfe are not in the selling business during this transfer window.

‘There is no discussion’

He said: “Will he stay? With Julian Draxler it will be 100 percent like that. He will stay at VfL. There is no discussion.”

“Interest from England? It is not the time for any vow, but we will not give Julian away. I say this as clearly, no peace deal will come. Our plans are clear.”
