Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is plotting a move for some of Barcelona’s brightest young talent.

Reports claim the Reds are planning a raid on the Catalan giants’ ‘B’ side, and in particular four youngsters.

Marlon, a 21-year-old centre back; Nili Perdomo, a 22-year-old full-back; Marc Cardona, a 21-year-old striker and 20-year-old midfielder Wilfrid Kaptoum have all caught Klopp’s eye, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

Barcelona’s famed La Masia training academy is among the most famed in the world, with many stars coming through their ranks, including the likes of Xavi, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas and Pepe Reina.

One of the quartet, Kaptoum, has made an appearance for Barcelona’s first-team, last season in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkuesen. The other three only arrived this summer, but have already made an impression.

Cameroonian Kaptoum joined Barcelona’s youth ranks in 2008, after a spell at the Samuel Eto’o Foundation. He also scored from the bench against Valencia in the Copa del Rey Semi-Finals.

Brazilian Marlon is on loan from Fluminense, and has represented Brazil at Under-20 level. Nili Perdomo can play at right-back or on the wing, and turned out for Las Palmas lasts season.
