The defender swaps the Camp Nou for Anfield
Liverpool have completed the signing of Barcelona youth centre-half Juanma Garcia Rey.
The 19-year old has been offered a contract with the Reds after impressing on trial.
Juanma had 10 days training with Liverpool’s under 23 side before being offered the deal.
“Ended my stage at FC Barcelona. Thank you for these 8 seasons! Her life continues and I also… Thanks,” he said.

Senior squad?
Jurgen Klopp is on the search for new centre-backs after an injury crisis in pre-season, however, it is unlikely that Juanma will be in his first team plans.
The Spaniard is expected to play a prominent role in Michael Beale’s under 23 team.
