Reports claim Manchester City have opened talks with Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to England recently, with Manchester United and Arsenal keen to acquire the French-born Gabonese player.
But City have moved ahead in the chase for the striker, who can also play on the wing.
City have already signed one star from the Bundesliga side in the last few weeks, Ilkay Gundogan penning a deal with the Premier League club.
And now it appears Aubameyang is also on his way to the Etihad Stadium.
He certainly knows where the goal is, scoring 25 goals in 29 league games last season, in addition to being the Bundesliga Player of the Year.
The Gabon striker, 26, joined Dortmund in 2013 from Saint Etienne, and would cost between £50-60m.
Incoming City manager Pep Guardiola may not stop the reshuffle with the captures of the Dortmund pair, if Aubameyang signs. He may also make a move for Aymeric Laporte and John Stones.
City chiefs are hoping Guardiola’s appointment will enable the club to get back to winning trophies after a disappointing 2015-16 season.
Despite winning the League Cup and reaching the Champions League semi-finals, where they fell to eventual winners Real Madrid, City finished fourth in the league and Manuel Pellegrini was sacked.
