Jose Mourinho has told him he can leave
Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has hinted at a future away from the Premier League club.
The former Germany international is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, following the World record return of Paul Pogba.
Schweinsteiger took to his Twitter account to clear the air about his current situation.
‘I will be ready’
“MUFC will be my last club in Europe. I respect other clubs, but Manchester United was the only one which could make me leave Bayern Munich,” wrote the 31-year-old.
“I will be ready, if the team needs me. This is all I can say about the current situation. I want to thank the fans for the amazing support over the recent weeks.”
Although these comments don’t clarify that Schweinsteiger will leave United this summer, they certainly suggest he could ply his trade in America of China very soon.
