Zlatan Ibraahimovic will not feature in Manchester United’s pre-season tour of China.
The superstar Swede has been given an extended rest by Jose Mourinho, after a busy season with Paris St Germain, along with representing Sweden in Euro 2016.
Matteo Darmian, Anthony Martial, Morgan Schneiderlin, James Wilson and Bastian Schweinsteiger are also absent from the tour, which takes in games against Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai, and Manchester City in Beijing.
Fellow new signings Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are included in the 25-man squad. Luke Shaw continues his rehabilitation after injury last season with an inclusion.
Also set to be involved are five Red Devils involved in the European Championships: England trio Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford and Chris Smalling, along with David De Gea of Spain and Paddy McNair of Northern Ireland.
