Nacho Monreal is ready to extend his contract with Arsenal, according to reports in Spain.
The Gunners have announced new deals for Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott on Friday, and the left-back is now set to join them in extending their stay at the Emirates.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spaniard will see his wage increase to £75,000-a-week and a verbal agreement is in place for the contract to run until 2017.
There had been interest from clubs in Spain, including Athletic Bilbao, who were ready to pay around £7m for the defender.
But Monreal looks set to end any transfer speculation by penning an extension in the coming days.
