Sam Allardyce faces an uncertain future with the FA after recent allegations

England manager Sam Allardyce is facing an uncertain future with the Football Association following serious allegations that emerged last night.

The Telegraph claim they have footage of the 61-year-old accepting a ÂŁ400,000 payment in exchange for advice on how to avoid the FA’s third-party ownership rules.

Two investigative journalists, who disguised themselves as Far East investors, claim to have video footage which the FA has asked to see.

Reports suggest Allardyce admits that he signed Enner Valencia for West Ham United by avoiding said rules.

He also allegedly mocks Roy Hodgson’s (former Three Lions’ boss) speech impediment, as well as criticising former assistant coach Gary Neville and calling his employers ‘stupid’ to expensively rebuild Wembley Stadium.

FA chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn are holding a meeting this morning as they start an official investigation.

Allardyce has taken charge of just ONE match as England chief, a 1-0 away win at Slovakia in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
