Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams has signed a new deal with the club.
The Spanish Under-21 international had been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal said to be keen.
But he is now set to stay at the San Mames until 2021, with a hefty release clause of £38.1m.
This is an increase from the release clause in his previous contract, of £15.3m.
Williams has 10 goals from 21 games for Bilbao this season.
Arsenal scouts had been sent to see Williams in action, against Villarreal in the Copa del Rey, in which he scored the only goal of the game.
Liverpool were also reportedly keen, with growing injury concerns over Daniel Sturridge forcing manager Jurgen Klopp to find reinforcements.
Tottenham were also keen, looking for cover for Harry Kane.
